  • Body:

A heavy-bodied instrument with multi-layer back and sides with outer veneer that is very attractive. With the well-known Smallman brace-less, arched back.

  • Front:

Cedar lattice construction with the support system for which the maker is famed and short padauk bridge with bone-edged tie-block capping and scalloped bone saddle.
The front has a matt varnish finish with three clear plastic surface protectors.

  • Tuners:

Baljak tuning machines - Mare model with ebony side-plate trim and ebony buttons.

  • Scale:

65cm with 19 frets on a proprietary composite fingerboard.

  • Neck Width:

53mm at the nut with 42 mm string spacing.

  • Weight:

    3198 grams.

  • Condition:

This guitar is in very near new condition - just a small number of very small, superficial marks.

  • Comments:

This is a typical, normal Smallman; the same as played by John Williams, Carlos Bonell and so many other professional recitalists around the world. Made in 2015, this is in extremely good condition and therefore an opportunity to have a near new one without the long wait.
The guitar has upgraded tuning machines and also the rather expensive Karura case.
