  • Comments:

This is one of those 'Oh my God' guitars ....what an outstanding instrument!
With stunning physical beauty, here is a guitar of the finest musical qualities. It has immense depth, strong middle and clear, projecting trebles. Although never copying one specific instrument, Fritz Ober's guitars are very much in the style of Hermann Hauser I but also with some deeper bass resonance of Torres guitars in mind. The plantilla / soundboard shape is very Hauseresque with some reference also to those of Manuel Ramirez and Antonio de Torres.
On first playing, this one has immediate impact because of its open response. On playing more, you continue to find impressive qualities, balance, flexibility, focus, weight of each note etc. Truly a modern masterpiece.
