These are really beautiful and impressive Fritz Ober instruments. Although never copying one specific instrument, Fritz Ober's guitars are very much in the style of Hermann Hauser I but also with some deeper bass resonance of Torres guitars in mind. The plantilla / soundboard shape is very Hauseresque with some reference also to those of Manuel Ramirez and Antonio de Torres. The treble is strong, evenly very rounded and impressively open for a new guitar. The bass is very deep and resonant from the low body resonance near E flat yet this appears to take nothing from the fullness of the middle and treble resulting in a very balanced guitar that is a joy to play. For those many players appreciating the rich and beautiful tones of the traditionally-built classical guitar, here is a magnificent example of Hauser character that has the depth and strength required of a true concert guitar.
