  • Comments:

This is a very fine guitar - a replica of a Hermann Hauser I made by Christopher Dean of which he has made just a handful. I like this one for its authentic feel and sound; disstinctly different from Christopher's regular concert guitar and has close resemblance in feel and sound to the Hausers on which it is based. The air resonance is down near F and has a tone range that is a little different. The bass is profound, the centre is strong and the first string has a full, sweet and singing quality.
Really quite a special and very handsome guitar with a glorious range of sound.

"Having known Miles for many years now I can say with some authority that dealing with him is a pleasure, due largely to my secure feeling that he, like me, has a genuine love of his subject. Over the years I have always been eager to hear feedback from both Miles, and his customers, and this has helped me greatly to bolster my own passion for the guitar and to refine my work ."
