Tobias Braun in Gaarden workshop March '08
Tobias Braun is fortunate to have a spacious and well-laid out workshop adjoining his house located in a very pleasant and quiet town a few miles from Vienna. As with many makers, he has some spectacular materials and enjoys producing instruments with differing woods. The particular one shown had back and sides of ziricote and a highly-figured, bearclaw top. He has also used wonderful sets of maple, satinwoods of different types as well as the rosewoods.
