Dominique Field's strut gluing jig
Photographed and reproduced here with the kind permission of Dominique Field. This is a second photo of the jig that Dominique uses for gluing the yet un-shaped struts to the underneath of the front. His version is an adaption from others that have been used by other luthiers but with position adjustment to allow strut fixing in any location. Of this kind of giving access to his methods, he says - in lutherie, there should be no secrets.
