Both Antonio and José show pride and real satisfaction in these two guitars both made with African satinwood back and sides. The one being a spruce-fronted flamenco with pegs; the other being a spruce-fronted classical. In both cases they are extremely beautiful to look at and also very fine-sounding guitars. The classical is very crisp and bright but with a deep-resonating bass. The flamenco is just that -full of impressive flamenco character; no less impressive than the best cypress guitars. So far the flamenco guitar from Antonio is unique. The classical is the second that José Marin Plazuelo has made for us with this timber. What a treat!
